The Best Vegan And Gluten Free Chocolate Banana Bread


  • 5 Medjool dates 
  • 1/2 cup water 
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 2 cups gluten free oats
  • 3 tbsp unsweetened almond butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract 
  • Vegan chocolate chips (I used the brand Hu Kitchen)
  • Drizzle of maple syrup


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Blend the dates and water in a high speed blender.
  3. Add the bananas, oats, almond butter, and vanilla extract and blend until you have a smooth consistency.
  4. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper and pour the mixture into it.
  5. Add chocolate chips, banana slices, and a drizzle of maple syrup on top.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
